New-fashioned unit with coffee/tea making equipment, fridges, and glassware. Particularly good location close to the airport, and only about 15 minutes' walk to Launceston centre.
Quite busy staff!

Location
Not so much a complaint, just facilities rooms need updating, needs to get Foxtel for example. I do a fair bit travel and find most hotel/motels have this facilitiy. The Hotel realy does need a make over.

A fine establishment, well situated and comfortable with an excellent dining room and cooking.
Despite the great care you have taken by an attempt at double glazing the windows facing the park, the traffic has defeated you. Despite the comfortable beds we had a very disturbed sleep. the traffic noise was very intrusive. A great pity.

The room was nicely refurbished and very clean. Great shower and available with a balcony and freezer. I had tea/coffee making equipment, a refrigerator, and glassware. My stay at Hotel Launceston was truly enjoyable. The room I stayed in was clean and nicely remodeled, and the amenities provided, including the balcony and tea/coffee making equipment, made for a comfortable stay.

Its a pretty dated affair even by Launceston standards. Bed was comfy but the rest was ordinary.
